Anjella’s Piano Studio is located in Newport News, Virginia. Anjella Stepanyan got her degree in Piano Pedagogy, Performance and as a Collaborative Pianist from Kara-Murza Music College in Armenia after graduating an 8-year specialized music school. Her academic career has included also singing in choir, with many performance opportunities in various concert halls in Armenia.
Her instructional career started since junior year of the college. Currently residing in Newport News, VA since 1998.
In her home-studio, she provides private piano lessons for students of all levels, ages from four and up.
She is a member of the Virginia Music Teachers Association (VMTA), the Peninsula Music Teachers Association (PMTA), and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Being a member of these professional associations allows her students have opportunities to participate in association events: local and state. Membership also provides continuous education for teachers with up to date teaching methods and educational researches.
She has served in several leadership capacities in our local chapter over the years as a Scholarship chair, Program/ Vice President, and as a President of our local chapter, at the Peninsula MTA.
Her academic and professional experiences have provided her with skills and insights, which she is gladly able to pass along to those who are willing to learn.
