Philosophy
I take great responsibility and do my best to teach my students about the intricacies of music and the piano. As such, I work to bring out the very best in them, help them to get in touch with their inner self, to realize their abilities, and see their potential.
With the teaching experience of over 25 years, she firmly believes that each child has the potential and is uniquely talented. Her goal is to unveil or help to discover their ability to learn, to succeed, and nurture growth. With the individualized approach, lessons are planned based on interest and needs of each student. I take great responsibility and do my best to teach my students about the intricacies of music and the piano. As such, I work to bring out the very best in them, help them to get in touch with their inner self, to realize their abilities, and see their potential.
Every aspect of music is equally important to prepare well-rounded musicians. Therefore, ear training, technique, theory, composition, improvisation, and sight-reading, music history, performance are included in the music education of each student.
To aid in their well-rounded learning process, the students have the opportunity to participate in various activities throughout the year including, but not limited the recitals and events organized by me and the local and state organizations.
Learning to play the piano is truly like learning another language, is combination of history, science, foreign language, math and art! It requires patience, consistency, and hard work.
